23-Year-Old Guy Arrested In Rivers for ATM Card Swapping
Promise Dogoh, a 23-year-old native of Kamnor community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, has been nabbed by Rivers State Police Command. He is accused of swapping ATM cards belonging to persons at different ATM terminals in Rivers State and then stealing money from their accounts.

According to a statement made by DSP Grace Iringe-Koko, the command’s spokesman, the man ran out of luck on April 22 at an ATM gallery in Artillery after successfully swapping a victim’s ATM card and withdrawing N 640,000, leaving the victim with nothing in his account.

According to the police spokeswoman, the enraged victim reported the incident to State Command Operatives, who quickly swung into action and detained the perpetrator. He is currently assisting the police in their investigation, according to her, and will appear in court soon.
