Drunk police officer badly murders two at birthday party in Lagos (photos)
A police officer on the loose after allegedly shooting two people during a birthday party held at a bar in Gowon Estate, Egbeda, Lagos.
The cop was handed food and drinks by the party organizers, who invited him to join in their celebration, according to eyewitnesses. He resumed shooting irregularly after he had eaten and drank to his pleasure, apparently killing two of the attendees who were spraying money at the celebrant.
The remains of the deceased, as well as those who incurred gunshot wounds, were shown in a video posted online.

SP Benjamin, a spokeswoman for the state police headquarters, confirmed the occurrence. “I can confirm that two people were killed in a shooting at the bar on Sunday night.” The circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated. I can tell you that the perpetrators will not go unpunished. They’ll have to face the consequences. CP Abiodun Alabi, the commissioner of police in Lagos State, has zero tolerance for such behavior and has already given marching orders to the DPO to find the perpetrators.”
The celebrant, known as Ifeanyi alias Asiwaju of Computer Village, was also said to have summoned the policeman to provide protection.
