List of All Polytechnics in Nigeria: The National Board for Technical Education has provided a complete list of all federal, state, and private polytechnics in Nigeria on this page (NBTE).
Meaning of polytechnics
A polytechnic is a technical institution that offers post-secondary technical education programs that lead to diplomas and certificates like the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) (HND). Depending on the level of instruction, these institutions’ graduates will have entry-level employment skills to work as technicians, higher technicians/technologists, or professionals in their fields of expertise. A polytechnic may also engage in applied research and carry out any other duties that its Council may assign it from time to time. The SSSC/GCE O’Level with credit passes in at least five topics related to the program or their equivalents is the minimum admission criterion.

Below, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in Nigeria has accredited all of the polytechnics listed below. All authorized Federal, State, and Private Polytechnics in Nigeria are included. This list will be updated as new polytechnics are established.
