About the 2022 new way of creating JAMB profile using NIN, majority of candidates “if not all”, did not link their email to their activated profile.
For instance, all UTME and D.E candidates need to link their email to their profile so as to be able to have access to the following;
- Access their JAMB CAPS
- View their O’level
- Pay and Print out Original JAMB Result.
- Make payment and Print JAMB Admission letter.
- Check their 2022 Admission status on JAMB CAPS
- Pay and do change of course
- Make payment and do change of institution.
How much can it cost to link Email to JAMB profile
The linking of your email to JAMB profile or JAMB portal dose not cost much, rather it will cost only N50. This will be charged only as SMS fee

Note; When linking your Email Address to JAMB Profile, You can only perform this process by making use of the same phone number you used to register your jamb and NIN.
How to easily, with no waste of time link your email;
- Open your phone SMS and type; “Email, your email, your email“
- For example; Email ruthsaviour@gmail.com ruthsaviour@gmail.com
- Now, send it to 55019
- Please make sure you type Emailfirst and type your Email again.
- After that, log in to your email to see the password that JAMB sent to you.
- Use the password to login and access your JAMB efacility portal by visiting https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/
What happens if a candidate don’t Link Email to JAMB Portal
Candidates that do not link their email to their JAMB portal will not be able to do the following;
- Access their JAMB CAPS and view their O’level
- Make payment and do change of institution.
- Pay and Print out Original JAMB Result.
- Make payment and Print JAMB Admission letter.
- Pay and do change of course
Closing date for Linking Email to JAMB Portal
Presently, JAMB has not yet announced any closing date/deadline for the linking of email.
All candidate are advice to link their Email to JAMB Portal as soon as possible. Because to our best knowledge, the linking process may probable last as long as possible.
