NSCDC Official Brutalising His Sisters for Keeping Male Friends (Photos)
“They are my sisters, and I have every right to discipline them,” an NSCDC official reportedly brutalizing his sisters for having male companions.
After images of the injuries he inflicted on his adolescent sister went viral, a Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps officer, Ugwueze Ezekiel, allegedly said he has the right to discipline his sisters.
Ugwueze Ezekiel was accused of beating and brutalizing his 19-year-old sister, Amarachi Ugwueze, a University of Abuja microbiology student, after refusing to hand over her phone to him after he accused her of having a boyfriend over the weekend.
The young lady sustained various injuries in the assault, which occurred on Wednesday at Aviation Estate in the Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
He was also accused of tormenting his two sisters on the basis of rumors that they had boyfriends.
The most recent incidence occurred on April 20. Ugwueze Ezekiel allegedly arrived from work and told Amarachi she needed to bring her phone so he could read through her text conversations, but she refused.
NSCDC personnel were apparently enraged by this and assaulted her, seizing her phone violently.
He then allegedly shut her up in a room all night and abused her.
“After he grabbed my first phone, I retrieved my SIM to get my contacts back with another phone my friend, Chisom, provided me,” the victim informed SaharaReporters.
“When he arrived home last Wednesday night, he requested for the new phone that a friend had given me, but I refused to give it to him. He began slapping, slapping, and smacking my legs with a stick almost immediately. Because the beating was so severe, I had to bring out the phone.
“After that, he flogged me with a cable and belt and sized my acceptance letter and certificate while I lay on the floor.”

Amarachi and her sister, Chidinma Ugwueze, 21, later fled the house, fearing that their brother would continue to torment them.
After images of Amarachi’s injuries went public, an NGO stepped in to help the sisters get justice.
Tracy Mcwary, the head of an eponymous foundation, revealed on Facebook that she has communicated with both the sisters and their brother, the NSCDC official.
She went on to say that she had everything on tape and that her brother had said: “I have every right to discipline my sisters since they are my sisters. I merely used my belt to flog them.”
