A fit level of self-respect can help in enabling you to have the confidence to set firm boundaries. This means knowing your stand and what your values are and being accepting of both your strengths and weaknesses
When you value yourself and have good confidence, you feel secure and valuable. You have normally positive relationships with others and feel sure about your abilities.
Self-respect is more necessary than always being seen as a truly nice person.
